Jesús López Zaballos appointed to the IFRS Advisory Council.

nWe are delighted to announce that the Trustees of the IFRS Foundation recently
approved the reappointment of EFFAS on the IFRS Advisory Council with our Chair, Jesu00fas Lu00f3pez Zaballos, as its new individual representative.
Jesu00fas has been on the EFFAS Board since 2008 and chairs the federation since 2012. He holds more than 40 years of experience in the Financial and Capital Markets areas.
nThe Advisory Council is the formal strategic advisory body to the Trustees of the IFRS Foundation, the International Accounting Standards Board and the International Sustainability Standards Board. It consists of a wide range of representatives comprising individuals and organisations with an interest in international financial reporting.
nThe focus of the Advisory Council is to provide strategic support and advice to the IFRS Foundation.
nDr. Zaballosu2019 term is with effect from 1 January 2024 and will be for three years.
