20 October 2026 | Frankfurt am Main
The European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies (EFFAS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicolas d’Hautefeuille to its Executive Management Committee (EMC), effective 6 October 2026. He succeeds Florence Priouret as the representative of the French Society of Financial Analysts (Société Française des Analystes Financiers – SFAF).
Nicolas d’Hautefeuille brings extensive experience across investment banking, financial regulation, corporate valuation and international accounting standards. He is treasurer and Vice President for the SFAF. He is also a member of the financial instrument group at the IVSC International Value Standard Council.
He served as Global Head of Innovation and Strategic Advisory at Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank (CA CIB). Throughout his career, d’Hautefeuille has contributed to regulatory and professional initiatives at both European and international levels. His experience includes serving as an expert for the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) on credit rating agency regulation, participating in the AFME-SIFMA Accounting Forum, and contributing to European and international initiatives on financial reporting and digitalisation.
‘’Effas is a strategic asset to improve financial stability in Europe. Improving capital allocation by reducing the gap between price vs value will help to sustain stronger economic growth. Making financial markets more efficient will reduce the cost of capital for European corporates while improving funding for climate change and autonomic strategy.’’
Nicolas d’Hautefeuille, New EFFAS EMC Member.
His work also focuses on the relationship between sustainability, financial analysis and emerging technologies. He has published research on corporate sustainability reporting, digital financial reporting and the application of artificial intelligence to valuation methodologies.
He is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris with a Master’s degree in European Law from Sorbonne University and a certified financial analyst.
“Nicolas has been closely involved in many of the issues that matter to EFFAS, including financial reporting, regulation and the use of new technologies in financial analysis. His experience and understanding of the profession will be a real asset to the Committee. I am very pleased that he is joining us and look forward to working together.”
Hans Buysse, EFFAS Chair.
EFFAS warmly welcomes Nicolas d’Hautefeuille and looks forward to benefiting from his expertise in financial markets, regulatory developments and innovation as the Federation continues to advance professional standards across its European network.
EFFAS also extends its appreciation to Florence Priouret, who joined the EMC following the EFFAS Annual General Meeting on 10 June 2026. Her extensive regulatory experience, including more than 27 years at France’s Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), has brought valuable expertise to the Committee.
