EFFAS would like to welcome Thorsten Mu00fcller as the newest member of the Executive Management Committee (EMC) and look forward to his contributions to the meetings. Mr Mu00fcller was co-opted at the EMC Meeting in writing held on 5 December 2022. He is taking over as the representative for DVFA from Mr Klaus Beinke. The EFFAS EMC would like to thank Mr Beinke for all his contributions during his time as an EMC member. We wish him every success in the future.

Thorsten Mu00fcller, CIIA, CEFA, CeFM, Lighthouse Corporate Finance GmbH, is the current Chair of DVFA. Mr Mu00fcller joined the board of directors of the DVFA in 2018. At DVFA he has been involved in the topics of capital market unions, SMEs and ESG. Thorsten is considered a proven primary market specialist. He is a member of the DVFA Commission for Company Analysis and head of the MIFID/Regulation working group. Mr Mu00fcller co-chairs, with Barbara Cohen (SFAF), the EFFAS Capital Markets Commission. He is also a member of the Issuer Market Advisory Committee of Deutsche Bu00f6rse AG.

Thorsten Mu00fcller is a banker and has a degree in business administration. He rounded off his training with the CIIA. After positions at Commerzbank in Frankfurt and at WestLB in Du00fcsseldorf, he became managing partner of Lighthouse Corporate Finance GmbH in Frankfurt am Main where he is responsible for capital market and M&A transactions.
