The European Federation of Financial Analysts’ Societies (EFFAS), has reached an agreement with Amsterdam-based sustainability-focused education platform Earth Academy to promote the EFFAS Certified ESG Analyst Certification (CESGA) in the USA.
EFFAS’ Chair, Jesús López Zaballos, stated that “the USA’s influence on the world makes it a key area where training programmes such as the CESGA can have an impact by influencing companies’ policies towards a more ethical and environmentally aware approach through the training of their employees. I hope that the success of our CESGA Programme in Asia can be reproduced across the USA.”
Earth Academy’s CEO, Shivani Rajpal, stated that “Earth Academy is committed to offering high-quality educational programmes that prepare individuals to be leaders in their fields. This alliance between the Earth Academy and EFFAS promotes the CESGA programme in the USA to train professionals to make decisions on climate, environmental, social, and corporate governance issues in the American market to have a positive effect. The CESGA® (Certified Environmental Social and Governance Analyst) certification offers an in-depth analysis for the assessment, measurement, and integration of ESG criteria in financial analysis and investment strategies. The programme is aimed at asset managers, professionals in corporate responsibility or investor relations, reporting consultants, and professionals in investment strategies who wish to integrate ESG information and data into the capital allocation process.
