EFFAS donates to Cambodia through UNICEF.
EFFAS announces a donation of €31,800 to UNICEF’s initiative for protecting children from violence in Cambodia. This significant contribution comes after a thoughtful voting process involving the EFFAS community.
EFFAS had presented its community with four impactful charitable options, reflecting the organization’s commitment to global welfare and sustainability:
1️⃣ Living Schools in Malawi: Providing education and sustainable living spaces in Malawi, combating climate change’s effects.
2️⃣ Climate Resilient Schools in Bolivia: Ensuring access to education in the face of natural disasters and climate change impacts.
3️⃣ Solar Energy in Burundi: Bringing light and clean energy to remote regions for better learning conditions and safety.
4️⃣ Protecting Children from Violence in Cambodia: Supporting vulnerable children and their families to live violence-free lives.
After a community-wide vote, the overwhelming choice was the initiative in Cambodia, reflecting a collective desire to make a profound difference in the lives of children in need.
This donation is part of EFFAS’s ongoing commitment to make a positive impact on society. The funds will be used to bolster UNICEF’s efforts in Cambodia, focusing on supporting vulnerable children and their families to live violence-free lives. This initiative is critical in a region where children often face myriad challenges, including poverty, exploitation, and lack of access to basic services.
