EFRAG is inviting applications from academics in corporate reporting, including financial and sustainability reporting, to join its Academic Panel. The application deadline is 16 December 2024.
The EFRAG Academic Panel, which has been active for over seven years, promotes collaboration between EFRAG and the academic community. The panel supports EFRAG’s technical advisory bodies (EFRAG FR TEG and EFRAG SR TEG) by providing academic input, recommending relevant literature, and assisting with academic tenders and studies.
The panel consists of 18 members, with one physical and one virtual meeting annually. EFRAG covers travel expenses for the physical meetings in Brussels.
Candidates should be specialize in IFRS Accounting Standards or sustainability reporting and have knowledge of European specificities. Current members are eligible for reappointment.
Application Process
Nominations can be submitted by candidates or by organisations on their behalf. Applications should include a covering letter indicating the areas of corporate reporting in which the candidate has specialised, a CV and a list of publications. Applications should be submitted to EFRAG using this form no later than 16 December 2024.
