EFRAG is extending its search for members to join the Rate-regulated Activities Working Group (EFRAG RRAWG). This group plays a key role in supporting the endorsement process for the upcoming IFRS Accounting Standard on regulatory assets and liabilities, expected in late 2025.
Work of the EFRAG Rate-regulated Activities Working Group
- Provide specialist accounting expertise and insights into rate-regulated environments.
- Contribute to EFRAG’s monitoring and endorsement-related activities for the new IFRS Standard.
- Support EFRAG in addressing financial reporting challenges unique to Europe.
Group Structure and Meetings
- Meeting Frequency: Approximately four times annually, either in Brussels or online.
- Meeting Duration: Half to full-day sessions, scheduled for convenient travel.
- Membership Requirements: Applicants should have:
- Expertise in rate-regulated environments and financial reporting.
- Practical experience with IFRS Accounting Standards.
- A strong understanding of the issues arising from rate-regulated activities.
