EFFAS Opens Call for Nominations for New Members: Commission on ESG (CESG) or the Commision on Capital Markets
We are pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the CESG (Commission on ESG) and the CMC (Commission on Capital Markets). We strongly encourage all National Member Societies to put forward qualified candidates to contribute to these EFFAS commissions by 26 March 2025.
Why Your Society’s Participation Matters
EFFAS has always thrived on its diversity and inclusiveness, which is why it is vital for each National Member Society to have a voice on these commissions. Diverse representation ensures that we bring together a broad range of perspectives, fostering solutions that are not only relevant but impactful across European and global markets. This is particularly crucial in the context of the CESG and CMC, as both commissions tackle urgent, evolving challenges in their respective fields.
By nominating members, National Member Societies (NMS) will contribute to:
- Incorporating diverse viewpoints that enhance the relevance and applicability of EFFAS’ work across various markets and jurisdictions.
- Ensuring that representatives from each society bring unique insights based on national market conditions, making EFFAS’ initiatives pertinent to professionals across all corners of Europe.
- Fostering active engagement in these commissions, which strengthens cohesion among member societies and amplifies EFFAS’ collective influence in both European and global forums.
- Guaranteeing that the interests of each society and its members are reflected in EFFAS’ initiatives, which are designed to address both current and emerging challenges in capital markets and ESG matters.
