EFFAS Joins “Friends of EFRAG”, Enhancing Commitment to Sustainability Reporting
23 July 2024, Frankfurt
The European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies (EFFAS) is proud to announce its official partnership with the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG) by becoming an official “Friend of EFRAG.” This collaboration underscores EFFAS’s commitment to promoting excellence in sustainability reporting and advancing the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).
Strategic Partnership for Enhanced Sustainability Reporting
As a Friend of EFRAG, EFFAS is dedicated to supporting EFRAG’s mission and actively contributing to the development and implementation of ESRS. This affiliation enhances EFFAS’s role in shaping the future of sustainability reporting across Europe, aligning with its mission to foster professionalism and ethical standards in the financial sector.
The Partnership
For EFFAS, becoming a Friend of EFRAG offers a significant enhancement of our visibility and influence in the realm of sustainability reporting. This affiliation provides us with access to EFRAG’s events and critical documents, allowing us to stay at the forefront of developments in sustainability standards.
Additionally, it creates valuable opportunities for active participation and direct engagement with key EFRAG representatives, fostering meaningful collaborations that drive forward the advancement of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). Through this partnership, EFFAS is better positioned to contribute to and shape the future of sustainable finance practices across Europe.
This partnership helps EFRAG in its mission to advance sustainability reporting and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). Through collaboration with EFFAS, EFRAG gains access to a network of financial professionals who are instrumental in applying these standards across the finance sector.
By fostering deeper collaboration, EFRAG can benefit from practical insights and innovative ideas to further refine and enhance the ESRS. Additionally, the partnership allows EFRAG to extend its reach and influence within the financial industry, ensuring that ESRS adoption is supported by those at the forefront of financial analysis and reporting.
Moreover, EFFAS’s commitment to embedding ESRS into its Certified Environmental, Social, and Governance Analyst (CESGA) program will strengthen the adoption and implementation of these standards.
This collaboration also provides EFRAG with valuable feedback from financial professionals, enabling continuous improvement of the ESRS. By leveraging EFFAS’s educational and certification programs, EFRAG is better positioned to promote high standards of professionalism, ethics, and sustainability expertise across Europe, ultimately contributing to the broader goal of fostering sustainable finance practices.
Commitment to Sustainability
EFFAS’s involvement with EFRAG demonstrates our dedication to embedding ESRS into our Certified Environmental, Social, and Governance Analyst (CESGA) program. This initiative equips finance professionals with the necessary skills to implement these standards effectively, contributing to more sustainable finance practices and improved corporate reporting.
