EFFAS Welcomes Terrama as New Training Partner for CESGA and ECRA in Asia
05 February 2025 | Frankfurt am Main
The European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies (EFFAS) is pleased to announce Terrama as a new Training Partner for the delivery of the Certified ESG Analyst® (CESGA) and Certified Climate Risk Analyst® (ECRA) programmes in Bhutan, Indonesia, and Singapore.
A strategic regional partnership
Terrama is a sustainability consultancy and competency-building platform specialising in carbon markets, sustainable finance, and responsible reporting. With an established footprint across Southeast Asia and Bhutan, Terrama works closely with regulators, financial institutions, corporates, and academic partners to support the implementation of ESG frameworks, green taxonomies, and sustainable finance initiatives.
Through its appointment as an EFFAS Training Partner, Terrama will support the delivery and promotion of CESGA and ECRA as internationally recognised professional certifications, embedding them into regional professional development pathways and national capacity-building efforts.
Country focus: Singapore, Bhutan, and Indonesia
Singapore serves as Terrama’s regional hub for sustainable finance capability-building. Through its involvement in national standards-setting bodies and partnerships with financial-sector institutions, Terrama provides direct access to professionals operating at the core of Asia’s sustainable finance ecosystem.
Bhutan represents a unique opportunity for early-stage integration of ESG competencies at policy and institutional level. Terrama is actively involved in national-level sustainability initiatives, including green taxonomy implementation and capacity-building for the financial sector, positioning CESGA and ECRA as foundational qualifications for emerging sustainable finance roles.
Indonesia, as one of Asia’s largest and fastest-growing sustainable finance markets, offers long-term scale. Through its local networks and academic partnerships, Terrama supports the development of ESG and climate finance skills among professionals, students, and corporate sustainability teams.
Together, the three markets form a complementary regional cluster, combining regulatory depth, institutional credibility, and long-term talent development potential.
Strengthening EFFAS’ global reach
By partnering with Terrama, EFFAS reinforces its mission to advance professional standards in ESG and climate risk analysis globally, while ensuring that its certifications remain closely aligned with local market realities, regulatory developments, and practical implementation needs.
The CESGA and ECRA programmes will be delivered in line with EFFAS’ academic and quality standards, supporting finance professionals in Asia in navigating the growing complexity of ESG integration, sustainable finance, and climate-related financial risks.
