Martine Léonard, member of the EFFAS Commission on Environment, Social and Governance (CESG) has been appointed the new president of the Société française des Analystes financiers (SFAF).
She was elected by the board of directors formed by three vice-presidents: Claire Chaves d´Oliveira, Hubert Mathet, and Antoine Nodet, and Pascale Mourvillier, treasurer and member of the EFFAS Executive Management Committee. The other members of the board of directors are Maximilien Becq, Eric Bleines, Matthias Desmarais, Emilie Lochus and Pierre Nebout.
Martine Léonard is regarded as a pillar of the SFAF which she joined in 1985. She has held different roles such as director of financial analysis, director of equity management and director of voting policy, SRI analysis, SRI and solidarity management in a large French bank and its asset management subsidiary. She has been working in the corporate governance and financial communications of listed companies, including SMEs for 25 years. She is a member of the college-qualified personalities of the FIR-Forum for Responsible Investment, an association of which she was also vice-president.
In October 2021, she was appointed a member of the new SRI Label Committee set up by the French Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Recovery.
