EFFAS Appoints Dr. Valeria Fauner as Managing Director

The European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies (EFFAS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Valeria Fauner as Managing Director, effective 22 October 2025.
Dr. Fauner has been part of EFFAS for the past decade, building her career within the organisation and contributing to its international growth and professionalisation.
Having most recently served as Director of Training & Qualifications, she has been instrumental in consolidating EFFAS’ position as a leading international certification body for financial professionals. During this time, she contributed to the global expansion of EFFAS certifications, the development of strategic partnerships across Europe, Asia, and Latin America, and the strengthening of the federation’s flagship qualifications – including the renowned CESGA® (Certified ESG Analyst) and ECRA® (Certified Climate Risk Analyst) programmes.

As Managing Director, Dr. Fauner will oversee the overall management and strategic development of EFFAS, ensuring continuity in expanding and strengthening its internationally recognised training, qualification and certification programmes. In parallel, she will focus on enhancing EFFAS’s outreach and consolidating its position as a European think tank in finance and sustainability, driving innovation and fostering deeper collaboration with regulators, academic institutions, financial market stakeholders worldwide, and all other European EFFAS national member societies.
