EFFAS Announces Support to the Milan Conference on Integrated thinking and reporting: increasing quality, reinforcing value organized by the IFRS Foundation, in partnership with the Italian Foundation for Business Reporting (O.I.B.R.).
The European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies (EFFAS) is pleased to announce its support to the upcoming IFRS Foundation-OIBR Foundation Conference on “Integrated thinking and reporting: increasing quality, reinforcing value.” The conference will be held on 18 October 2024 in-person in Milan, Italy and online, and will feature experts discussing the latest advancements in corporate reporting.
Introduction and Context
With the introduction of the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards, the conference will focus on how companies can upgrade the content of their integrated reports, driving high-quality integrated reporting to meet the information needs of investors.
The forthcoming Milan conference will serve as a pivotal platform, bringing together industry leaders, regulators, and academics to discuss these advancements. It is expected to provide critical insights into the business case for integrated reporting alongside IFRS Accounting Standards and IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards.

Purpose
